  • Drawing energy centres

    I sketched this on a napkin during a conversation with my mum about a year ago. It was a simple diagram exploring how energy centres (chakras) open.

    I find it interesting that chakras are experientially real for many people (myself included) yet remain invisible to Western science (or scientific instruments) – pointing to different ways of knowing what’s real.

    The hidden depths & heights of our Mind

    These slides are from a short deck that I created at the start of 2025, called “A whole life’s work”. It’s my interpretation and summary of some key elements of the meditation/spiritual journey and a very top level overview.

    I think these slides could in turn be a starting point or provide some inspiration for my art practise, and I’d like to investigate that further. They are an aspect of my “why”.

    Exploring my creative medium & feeling stuck

    In the build up to the start of the MA Fine Art course, I’ve felt quite stuck because I don’t yet have a firm creative medium.

    I feel like I have a really strong “Why” — to express externally my own inner journey and experiences during meditation. eg. Blocked energies, energy centres opening, absorption states, experiencing the pull of the void etc.

    After doing a speed dating style meet & greet with a dozen or so other students from the course we were then tasked with responding to “kindness is like what?” on a Miro board.

    We split into breakout groups of three in order to explore a selection of “kindness” related words further.
