In ThoughtCounter, there’s a seed of an idea that feels worth developing. The execution of it will be so important and an exciting part is imaging the physical space and visualisation that will amplify the idea and bring it to life.
I’ve been continuing my research into artists who work with light, minimal spaces, immersive environments, and consciousness-altering installations. The challenge will be landing on the right aesthetic language – something that feels slightly ceremonial without being religious, and scientific without being clinical.

So many incredible and inspiring references here. I’m going to start thinking about ThoughtCounter’s physical elements – timer, clicker, EEG style measuring equipment, LED screen – which all need the same aesthetic consideration.
